General
Q: What is the AttackPRO 300?
A: The AttackPRO 300 is Seek Thermal's next-generation thermal imaging camera built for firefighting operations, and the newest camera in the AttackPRO Series. It's designed to help captains and commanding officers locate the seat of a fire, direct search crews, identify threats, and make tactical decisions in the field.
Q: How much does the AttackPRO 300 cost?
A: MSRP is $4,499, which includes the Seek Assured Warranty!
Q: What accessories are available?
A: The AttackPRO Truck Charger ($729) mounts in an apparatus and charges the camera in place.
Q: Can I customize camera settings across my department's fleet?
A: Yes. The Fire Products Configurator (thermal.com/fire-products-configurator.html) is a free setup tool for the AttackPRO 300 and FirePRO 300. Enable the features your department uses, disable the ones it doesn't, add a custom splash screen, and apply the same configuration across every camera in service — configure once, then export and import that configuration to every unit in the fleet.
Imaging & Performance
Q: What sensor does the AttackPRO 300 use?
A: AttackPRO 300 uses Seek’s next generation Eagle Sensor. It’s a 320 x 240 thermal sensor delivering higher detail, better contrast, and more edge clarity than prior sensors.
Q: What's the detection range?
A: Up to 1200°F (650°C).
Q: What does Mixed Gain Technology do?
A: It displays high-heat and low-heat regions of the same scene simultaneously, instead of forcing a trade-off between the two.
Q: What frame rate does the AttackPRO 300 image and record?
A: AttackPRO 300 images at 60Hz, and records video at 30Hz @ 640x480.
Q: What is Survey Mode?
A: An investigative mode designed for early threat identification during size-up and overhaul.
Q: Does the AttackPRO 300 record video and photos?
A: Yes — Approximately 10 hours of video capture capacity, or 5,000+ still images. The total number depends on the combined of images and videos. Note: Continuous video recording occurs in five-minute increments.
Q: Does the AttackPRO 300 time-stamp its recordings?
A: Yes. Time-stamping is a new feature in the AttackPRO 300. Access the Configurator to adjust the date and time to your time zone.
Durability
Q: How rugged is the AttackPRO 300?
A: It's IP67-rated, built to withstand a 2-meter drop onto concrete, and designed for high-heat resistance.
Battery & Charging
Q: Does the AttackPRO 300 use a new battery?
A: Yes — a new dual-cell battery (black housing), with a physical redesign of the battery door interface. Older AttackPRO batteries (orange housing) are not compatible with AttackPRO 300.
Q: Is the new battery backward-compatible with older AttackPRO cameras?
A: The AttackPRO 300's new battery (black housing) works in legacy AttackPRO cameras; however it is not recommended. Your older AttackPRO will not display the fuel gauge accurately when powered with an AttackPRO 300 battery.
Q: What is the battery run time?
A: 6 hours
Q: What changed with the USB accessory?
A: The USB programming/data tool moved from USB-A to USB-C.

A: The Seek Assured Warranty includes a 3–5 business day turnaround from the date Seek receives your unit.
