Seek Thermal policy states that when returning a unit to the factory for evaluation, the end user will cover the shipping charges to the factory. Upon completion of the repair or replacement, Seek Thermal will cover shipping charges back to the end user.
We do not currently offer exchanges for alternate models, but as long as you are still within the 30 day return window you can always return your existing camera for a refund and order the desired product separately.
After the return window has closed, or if you have purchased from another authorized retailer, you still have warranty protection against defects for up to a year. Upon request, we will cover the cost of returning the existing camera, and upon inspection and confirmation of defect, we will repair or ship out a replacement free of charge.
If you have purchased your Seek Compact imager from an authorized reseller, you are encouraged to direct any returns to them. If you are unable to resolve your issue by working with the reseller, please feel free to contact us and we'll see what we can do.
Lastly, the conditions of our warranty are limited for products residing outside of our current availability zones. If your device resides outside of the US, Canada, or select EU countries, you will need to cover the cost of returning the camera.
