The Primary way is to connect the Seek Shot/PRO to a PC or Mac using a USB cable, and selecting OK when a dialog box pops up asking to connect to USB.
The Seek Shot/PRO will appear as a connected drive with a Photo folder and a Video folder, copy images and videos as needed.
SEEK Shot/PRO captures images by creating two co-dependent files. File One, a .jpg file, captures the visual images in scene; and File Two, an .HIR file, captures radiometric/thermographic data in a scene. The .jpg and the .hir files are overlays and must be present in the Shot/PRO Photo Album for the images to render properly and for use in on-board reporting.
If the Seek Shot/PRO memory reaches its 3.5GB capacity, images can be moved, stored on a separate device (i.e. computer or laptop). Warning: User must migrate both the .jpg and the .hir files. Failure to do so renders the images unusable/incomplete.
User must ensure the .hir files are put back into the .MISC < .HIR' folder and the .jpeg files are returned to the 'PHOTO' album.`
If user moves both the .jpg and .hir images from the camera to computer and back then back to the Seek Shot/PRO, user can edit images on the Seek Shot/PRO. Images can only be edited on the Seek Shot/PRO.
Troubleshooting: Ensure the Seek Shot/PRO unit has the latest SW version uploaded (2.0.9. as of April 2022), as Shot/PRO features 3.5GB memory/storage.
The Secondary method is to upload images from the Shot Series to the Seekview app (onto a mobile device) and transfer from there.
Note: Raw thermal or radiometric data is not available from images pulled off of device or app. All images are “flat screenshots” of any thermal analysis performed on device or on Seekview app.
